Brahmaputra hostel, IIT Madras.
Named after
the great Asian river, it breaks the walls of regions,
barriers of cultures and languages as the great Brahmaputra river does.
People from different states speaking different languages, staying presently or stayed
here know the spirit of the hostel life in IIT Madras.
The hostel is a seat
of academics as well as outdoor activities. Every evening residents come out of their
rooms and play sports, games etc.
The hostels are
known for their closeness to nature. Where ever our eyes look its all
Clean and Green. Many residents as well as the monkeys who are part of
the hostel crowd await summer eagerly to have a taste of the king of
fruits, the mango which is available in plenty in the hostel. |
